Most of the members have Hartge bodyparts and wheels...why hasn't anyone done the AC Schnitzer body or even the wheels?

I think the Type V wheels are awesome. I like the Hartge CSII also but too similar to the stock.

I did one ACS piece - the rear window spoiler - which I think looks good. All of the other ACS stuff (except TypeV wheels) I wouldn't touch.

Are you referring to my car? I guess it kind of does look a bit white in the lighting, but actually it's Silverstone.

i have the ac rear lip spoiler. i liked it the best out of all the spoilers.
i have the hamann front lip spoiler. i liked that one the best to.
and lastly i have the hartge rear diffuser -- it was the cleanest / not to over the top. some people dont even realize its there. almost looks like it should've come stock.

Looking at these pictures just did me in! I am going to have to get the Racmonolites if they do another run, I will have to get them.

I'll agree with a few others; expensive and fugly.
I'm not sure what's uglier, the grill or the pipes...

AC Schnitzer was a good brand. I love it back in the very early 90's. The brand had a clear statement and their quality shows. Their wheels were different from (Alpina and Hartge) and their interior pieces were a classic aftermarket statement at the time.
Unfortunately, its success bites back, with poor quality counterfeits and fakes that turn their brand into somewhat of a BMW "Type R" wart that even the proud owners have to start hiding their emblems. the company had to publicly smash fake wheels with bulldozers.
As for the design, i believe the Hartge's treatment to the M5 was subtle and tasteful, which suits the majority of the M5 owners who want an understated elegance. (Hartge has its poor design too.. remember their 6er donkey snout?).
Not sure if this is just schnitzer, but you see harmann had their over-the-top designs that are not pretty. and this even gets contagious to classic brands like lorinser for the MB.
In any case....

I believe Schnizter was going after this look:
the dame edna with a nasty grin:
"GET OUT OF MY WAY KIDS!!"
or i guess a more gentle Nekobus look:
